"From Fear to Freedom: Mr. R's Journey Towards Healing"
Mr R, referred by a friend, first visited Sanjivani Homoeopathic Clinic on 23/05/2022 with a long-standing history of rectal prolapse and urgency in passing stool for the past two years. His complaints included prolapse during defecation, frequent bowel movements (6–7 times daily), small and loose stools, and a compelling need to use his finger to ensure complete evacuation to ease his anxiety. His symptoms were worse after consuming spicy food or when in a hurry. He also had a history of rectal prolapse surgery in December 2019. Alongside physical complaints, Mr. R suffered emotionally with fear, forgetfulness, low confidence, tension, disturbed sleep, and diminished appetite—leading to weight loss. He developed a dependency on cigarettes, smoking thrice a day for the past 1.5 years. He felt better when alone or at home, but his symptoms worsened after passing stool, and he often experienced associated issues like acidity, headache, and incomplete gas expulsion.
On follow-up visits, gradual improvements were noted.
On 08/06/2022 : he reported about 10% relief, especially in his fear of prolapse and social anxiety. However, he experienced anal pain and right nostril discomfort.
26/06/2022 : his confidence significantly improved, his stool became clearer, and there was no prolapse or acidity, although he complained of anal itching, chest heaviness, and occasional pain from tennis elbow.
08/08/2022 : he returned with acidity, headache, mouth ulcers, vertigo, palpitations, and thoracic spine pain. A visit
19/08/2022 : showed respiratory symptoms like cough, nasal blockage, reduced appetite, night cramps, and a white-coated tongue. However, bowel frequency was now 3–5 times/day and more controllable.
05/09/2022 : his throat infection had reduced, though night-time nasal obstruction and occasional bowel irregularities persisted.
19/09/2022 : he experienced anal region pain, nausea, and piles prolapse after stool.
25/10/2022 : he reported no complaints while visiting Pune, though consumption of spicy food (vada pav) led to chest pain and acidity.
03/11/2022: he had symptoms of chilliness, abdominal cramps, foul-smelling black stool, and shoulder pain.
13/01/2023: another kilogram of weight was lost, and he suffered from vertigo, exertion-induced abdominal pain, and disturbed sleep. Reading caused eye pain, and nasal obstruction persisted.
15/03/2023: he reported nasal dryness, thick yellow-green discharge, and even nosebleeds.
His last visit on 16/08/2023 included complaints of nasal blockage, lumbar pain, chilliness, foot numbness, chest congestion, watery and burning eyes, sticky stools, and a bluish tongue.
Through consistent follow-ups and tailored homoeopathic treatment, Mr. R has shown steady improvement from his initial debilitated state. From being haunted by fear, physical discomfort, and social anxiety, he now feels significantly better, confident, and more in control of his health. His journey reflects the power of holistic healing and the importance of persistent care.
